Using Reportl, Invest Europe have transformed their flagship research report 'Private Equity at Work', into a fully interactive, responsive, online report.

Invest Europe represents over 600 firms across private equity, venture capital and infrastructure investment.

Its role is to build global understanding and awareness of private equity, and to explain how the industry operates and contributes social and economic value.

Invest Europe has transitioned to digital-first design and publishing processes for its research reporting. Using Reportl software, we have delivered multiple reporting formats from a single source of content. 

Through its highly valued reports, Invest Europe has become the most authoritative source of data, research and insight on private equity, shining a light on the industry's activity in Europe.

We worked with Invest Europe to bring their online, PDF and printed reports into the digital and AI age and meet their audiences’ changing needs.

 

One of the flagship publications is the 'Private Equity at Work’ report, providing detailed evidence and analysis of the PE and VC industry’s contribution to employment, and the positive impact this has on economies and society.

 

Invest Europe has a wide mix of audiences (membership, investors, policymakers, media and the public) who all access content in different ways.

Because of the limited capabilities of design software, Invest Europe’s reports have historically been produced only in PDF and print – still important formats, but not enough to meet the demands of the digital and AI age.

 

For example, PDFs are almost impossible to read on a mobile - this is 98% of web users. And with the introduction of the European Accessibility Act, making these reports accessible has become crucial.

Meeting these needs is too difficult, slow and expensive using print and PDF design tools.

 

Using Reportl has made digital-first design efficient and cost effective for both us and Invest Europe's teams, enabling quicker editing and proofing in a single source of content, with online and PDF formats created and published simultaneously.

 

This 2025 Private Equity at Work report maximises the engagement potential of the digital format, delivering all the online features that audiences expect, like interactivity, navigation, animation, video, search and responsiveness. But it also delivers the PDF and print report which remain important formats for many readers.
