Our brief was to set a clear marker for the new brand by transforming a dated, underperforming site into an engaging, responsive and high-impact experience. Through crisp storytelling, striking visuals, and messaging tailored to key audiences, the result is a bold departure from private equity convention.

With its vibrant colour palette, interactive design, and modern tone of voice, the new site redefines how private equity firms can present themselves online — with purpose, polish, and personality.

Innovation

The aim was to explain August’s approach to doing business – a ‘buy and build’ private equity strategy which the firm deploys to create shared value – in a way that was crisp and memorable, encapsulated by the line ‘Join together, succeed together’.

 

New messaging

The aim is that visitors understand that August sees and understands the bigger picture, developing market-leading businesses that are much more than the sum of their parts.

 

Built on a robust CMS, the site is fully accessible and easy to maintain. Every detail — from animated graphics and refreshed team bios to embedded video — reinforces August’s distinctive approach and proven track record. The homepage features a rotating series of animations and a video interview with Managing Partner David Lonsdale, bringing leadership and values to the fore.
