As one of Europe’s leading life sciences private equity firms, Forbion needed to refresh its brand to better reflect its market position, the breadth of its investment strategies, and the launch of its new BioEconomy fund.
Our work began with reinvigorating the visual identity – retaining the existing logo but introducing a vibrant new colour palette, contemporary typography, and a curated mix of abstract and real-world imagery. This modernised the brand while communicating Forbion’s mission to be a business that is truly “impacting the future.”
A bold new website became the centerpiece of the rollout, featuring rich storytelling, dynamic visuals, and a structure aligned with the new brand hierarchy. Built on a flexible CMS, it positions Forbion as a forward-thinking leader in life sciences investment.
The refreshed brand was rolled out across key materials, from investor presentations and social assets to stationery, exhibition stands, and internal documents, ensuring consistency across every touchpoint.
Alongside the visual refresh, we developed a clear brand hierarchy that brought structure to how Forbion communicates across its core areas: Human Health and Planetary Health. This future-proof framework provides clarity around strategies, development stages, and funds, while allowing for seamless expansion as the firm grows or diversifies.
Our collaboration delivered a modern, scalable identity that reflects Forbion’s leadership and ambition in life sciences private equity.
“Friend helped us not only refresh our identity to reflect the cutting-edge private equity firm we are today but also put in place a structure that will grow with us. No matter how we evolve or diversify, our brand is now built to adapt and thrive."

To showcase Forbion’s commitment to sustainability, we worked closely with their team to bring the “Impact Report” to life, using engaging infographics, fast facts, and imagery to highlight how the firm is shaping the future.
