Hyve, an events business, felt the impact of the global pandemic more than most. In the face of enormous challenges, the company used the annual report to explain the critical decisions made, and what was coming next.

We worked closely with the Hyve team to make sure their reporting felt relevant for the post-COVID-19 era, and kept stakeholders on side. Messaging around the four key steps taken to protect the business and safely resuming events is supported by detail on short, medium and long-term strategy.

The business’ short-term strategy to keep customers on board is set out clearly – postponing some events, while turning others into virtual gatherings. Hyve takes a best-practice approach to strategy disclosure, focusing on the longer-term plan for the business even in a year marked by crisis.

In our second year working with a new brand, we helped Hyve to strike the right tone, and explain their plans to reset, renew and evolve.
